Johann Kielemann
One of the initial 163 wooden portfolios used for storing prints collected by the king. The prints were organised thematically; several prints were arranged and glued onto one page, and decorated with the so-called ‘royal mounting’ (a light green watercolour border and an engraved frame with a plant ornament). Johann Kielemann (bookbinder active in the 2nd half of 18th century) is an autohor of the wooden porftolio, G. J. Marstaller (etcher active 1746–after 1785) prepared the title page, the calligrapher remains unknown.
