Johann Kielemann

Bookbinder of German descent. In 1774, he began serving the royal household as a master in his field. He worked on commission for the court, as well as a contractor for the Cadet Corpus (1774-1794), binding some 8,000 volumes for the latter’s library. He also designed bindings for over 500 volumes for the library of Ignacy Potocki.
