Roee Rosen
born 1963
Israeli multidisciplinary artist, writer and filmmaker. Professor at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. As part of his art, Rosen invented non existing artists, among other Justine Frank and Maxim Komar-Myshkin. Rosen's first retrospective was held at Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, under the title The Dynamic Dead Roee Rosen (2011). His works were shown at the Documenta 14.
