Zbigniew Libera
There has never been a memorial in Warsaw that would pay tribute to the Constitution of 3 May. The design from the royal collection has not been translated into an actual monument either. Libera fills this gap. He raises the question of the efficiency of symbols and monuments in the public space and their impact on Polish society. If the monument had been built and survived until the present day, would people be more aware of democratic standards and their legal safeguards?
