Ivan Evstaf'evič Bugreev

Russian copperplate engraver, educated in the Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg. Associated with the academy between 1755-1786, first as a student, then employed on commission. He honed his experience in the Drawing Department under Johann Elias Grimmel and Francesco A. Gradizzi. In 1773, he was officially named an apprentice and by 1785, he was head of the Drawing Department. After Aleksej Jakovl'evič Kolpašnikov artist active 1744–1814
