Ewa Juszkiewicz

Lives and works in Warsaw. Visual artist. She works in the fields of painting, drawing and collage, she also creates curatorial projects. Grand Prix laureate of the 41st Painting Biennale 'Bielska Jesień' in 2013. In 2014 she was selected to 100 Painters of Tomorrow, a book published by Thames & Hudson, London. The same year she was invited to participate in the Shit and Die exhibition in Palazzo Cavour, Turin, curated by Maurizio Cattelan. In 2015 she took part in international exhibitions of Polish contemporary art scene: Procedures of the Head. Polish Art Today in Kunsthalle Bratislava, and State of Life. Polish Contemporary Art Within a Global Circumstance in National Museum of China, Beijing. She was also invited with her solo presentation for the Present Future section at Artissima in Turin. In 2016 she was selected for the new edition of Vitamin P – Vitamin P3. New Perspectives in Painting, a book published by Phaidon. Apart from the above, she participated in a range of shows both in Poland and abroad, e.g in Galerie Rolando Anselmi in Rome, MoMA in Warsaw and Zachęta – National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, MOCAK in Cracow and Frieze New York. Her works are in the museum collections, among others in the collection of Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Zacheta of Contemporary Art in Szczecin, National Museum in Gdańsk and Bielska Gallery BWA, Poland. The artist works with the lokal_30 gallery and Galerie Rolando Anselmi.
